Today, improvements in fuel technology and consumption in vehicles are increasing rapidly and studies on emission values are very important in order to protect the environment and nature.
New emission limit values are set in order to reduce the emissions to the environment of heavy commercial, light commercial and passenger vehicles engines, and manufacturers are granted specific times to reduce harmful emissions from their engines.
For this reason, engineers and vehicle manufacturers are working on their systems and trying to reduce their emissions every passing day.
As GCS, we can carry out these tests with our domestic and foreign accredited laboratories and submit the type approval according to the following regulations:
- ECE R49
Communique on Technical Arrangement (R-49) related to equal provisions for positive ignition engines with compression ignition and natural gas engines and liquefied petroleum gas and engines emanating from these engines
- ECE R24
In Motor Vehicles; Approval of Compression-ignited (C.I.) Motors for Visible Contaminant Propagation, Approved Type C.I. Approvals of Motor Vehicles on the Placement of Engines, Approval of Motor Vehicles Equipped with (C.I.) Engines on Propulsion of Visible Pollutants by the Engine, C.I. Motor Power Measurement
- 715/2007/EC
Regulation on the type approval of motor vehicles in terms of emissions from light passenger and commercial vehicles (euro 5 and euro 6) and access to vehicle repair and maintenance information
- 595/2009/EC
Regulation on the type approval of motor vehicles in terms of emissions from heavy duty vehicles (euro 6) and access to vehicle repair and maintenance information
- 97/68/EC
Type approval directive for measures to be taken against pollutant emissions in the case of gas and particulate emissions from internal combustion engines fitted to moving machinery used off-road
